HORSE RIDING ON FOOTPATHS AND GRASSED VERGES

Posted: Wed, 20 Jan 2021 13:36 by Sue Dunkley

It has been brought to our attention that there is an increase in the number of horse riders using the footpaths and grassed verges in the parish. Obviously this is damaging the verges and also making it difficult for walkers to manoeuvre around deposits which are being left by the horses. The parish council is aware of the increase in vehicles parking on the roadside by walkers during the lockdown but it would be appreciated if horseriders would observe The Highway Code and keep to the road. Many thanks
